Wow! Marvel jut announced some HuGe news in regard to the third phase of the cinematic universe.
According to Marvel, “Following our hero’s debut adventure in this summer’s “Ant-Man,” Scott Lang will return alongside Hope Van Dyne on July 6, 2018 with Marvel’s “Ant-Man and the Wasp.” The sequel will mark the first Marvel Studios film named after its heroine.”
This is great news as many have speculated that we wouldn’t see another Ant Man solo film until sometime after Avengers: Infinity Wars, but it looks like Marvels smallest hero and his compatriot, The Wasp will be returning sooner than expected.
Marvel will also be pushing up the release date for Black Panther while pushing back the release of Captain Marvel which will release on February 16th, 2018 and March 8th, 2019 respectively.
On top of all of this, Marvel will also be release three more currently untitled films set to come out May 1, 2020, July 10, 2020, and November 6, 2020.
This is big, BIG news! So what are you more excited for, the return of Ant Man, the ability to watch Black Panther a little earlier, or 3 entirely brand new movies?! Let us know what you think in the comments section below!
