Comicbook.com is now reporting that they have confirmation that Connor Hawke, son of the Green Arrow, will appear on DC’s upcoming, Legends of Tomorrow, albeit with a bit of a twist.
According to CB, the folks at Warner Brother’s have proclaimed that this version of Connor Hawke will NOT be the son of Oliver Queen and Sandra Hawk as in the comic books, but will instead be some other iteration of the character.
This comes as a bit of a surprise as in Arrow’s second season we were introduced to one of Oliver’s ex-girlfriends, pregnant by Oliver, who was paid off by Oliver’s mother, Moira Queen, to move away from Starling City and hide her pregnancy. In the first season of The Flash, Oliver again runs into the woman, still unknowing about the illegitimate child.
While the name and gender of the child are currently unknown, it was always presumed that it would eventually turn out to be Connor Hawke and it’s been hinted at by the cast that Oliver would eventually be reunited with his child. With Legends of Tomorrow being a show about time travel, it would make sense to include Hawke, as Oliver’s son, but as an older version.
We’re very interested in seeing how this plays out, so we’ll keep you up to date on any new news that breaks, but until then, what do you think about the inclusion of Hawk in LoT? Does it seem weird that they’re claiming he won’t be the son of Oliver and Sandra? Let us know what you think in the comments section below.Follow Us:
