Batman Solo Film Said to Be Cross Between ‘Death in the Family’ and ‘Under the Hood’

The rumblings of a Batfleck lead solo Batman flick have been all but confirmed, but outside the fact that it’s been suggested that Batfleck could both write and direct the film, little is known about how the movie will go down.

Today, in a special report, the folks over at Nerdist have come out and said that they have it on good authority that the film will continue on with the vivid Robin imagery we’ve been seeing in the BvS; Dawn of Justice trailers and will be some kind of amalgamation of the Death in the Family and Under the Hood story arcs. If this is in fact true, that would mean that Jared Leto’s Joker will be back for at least one more film.

The Death in the Family story-line features the brutal death of Jason Todd/Robin at the hands of the Joker while Under the Hood features the return of Jason Todd (from beyond the grave) as the infamous and violent anti-hero, the Red Hood.

So does this get you all jazzed? Are you excited to see the Red Hood hit the big screen or would that story be better left to the comics? As always, let us know what you think in the comments section below.
