Word on the street is that Netflix is getting a lot of good new stuff in the month of October including some long awaited big titles that are perfectly suited to a solid nerd-a-thon.

Arguably the biggest title to hit the streaming service is 2005’s Batman Begins, set to release on October 1st. Currently Netflix has Batman ’89 and the god-awful Batman & Robin done by Batman killer, Joel Schumacher [blergh!].

While we’re sad that Netflix isn’t hosting the entire Nolan directed Bat-triology, they are getting a few other favorable titles, including Season 1 of The Flash (Oct. 6th)Season 3 of Arrow (Oct. 7th)and Season 2 of the animated Marvel’s Avengers Assemble (Oct. 20th).

For fan’s of CW shows The Vampire Diaries, Supernatural, and iZombie, those will also be hit streaming this month. Personally, we’re looking forward to catching up on some iZombie!
